Aldo Aeberhard named honorary member of FC Zurich
FC Zurich is pleased to announce that the club has named Aldo Aeberhard its honorary member. After Sven Hotz, Walter Bolli, Köbi Kuhn and Hermann Burgermeister, Aldo Aeberhard is only the fifth person to be honored by FC Zurich for their great commitment to the club during Ancillo Canepa's presidency.
Aldo Aeberhard started his part-time engagement at FC Zurich in 1964 – that’s 57 years ago! During this time, he performed various functions in the background. Among other things, he was "the boss of the Letzigrund Stadium" for several years, meaning he was responsible for all questions relating to the organization of the site. Aldo Aeberhard later took on various tasks at the office. One of his most important functions was that of ticketing manager.
One could always rely on him one hundred percent. After all these years, Aldo Aeberhard has become an important part of FC Zurich’s history.
