FC Zurich Beats Servette FC 4:0

After four defeats in a row (3 in the league and 1 in the cup), FC Zurich has finally found its way back to success: The team of head coach Urs Meier has beaten Super League bottom club Servette FC 4:0 tonight.

Stjepan Kukuruzovic put the home team 1:0 ahead with a shot from just inside the box. Servette FC had several opportunities to equalize the game, among them an Eudis header against the crossbar. But shortly after the half-time break, it was again Kukuruzovic who decided the match: The midfielder scored his second goal of the night from a free kick and increased FC Zurich’s lead to two goals.

Yassine Chikhaoui and Adis Jahovic (in stoppage time) scored the other two goals in this game and put the final result to 4:0.

FC Zurich will be facing FC St Gallen in their next Super League away game this coming Sunday.
