FC Zurich Wins against FC St Gallen for the First Time This Season
Finally: FC Zurich has won its first match of the current season against FC St Gallen today.
his two goals against Servette FC last week, Kukuruzovic again scored from a free kick a little over 15 minutes into the game tonight and put his team on the scoreboard. In the second half, Drmic dribbled into the box and set up Chermiti nicely, who scored his seventh goal of the season and increased FC Zurich’s lead to 0:2. The game had already gone into stoppage time when St Gallen’s Scarione put the ball into the FC Zurich net and scored the only goal of the night for the home side.
This victory against St Gallen was well-deserved, although the home team also had some good scoring opportunities and could also very well have won the three points.
FC Zurich will be playing their next league away game against FC Lausanne-Sport this Friday.
