FC Zurich has signed Montenegrin international Ivan Kecojevic. The 25-year-old central defender joins FC Zurich from Turkish Süper Lig club Gaziantepspor and has signed a contract until 30 June 2017.

Ivan Kecojevic started his career with FK Mornar in Montenegro. His other former clubs are FK Teleoptik, FK Čukarički and OFK Beograd (all in Serbia), and Gaziantepspor since 2012.

Kecojevic is expected to start practice with FC Zurich on Friday and to travel to Turkey with the team on Sunday to take part in the club’s training camp. He will be wearing the jersey with the number 25.

"Ivan is an excellent and experienced player who will be assuming an important leadership role on the pitch," says FC Zurich president Ancillo Canepa about the signing of Ivan Kecojevic.
