How FC Zurich’s National Players Got on Last Night

Seven FC Zurich players have been called up to their respective national teams this week. Here’s an overview of how they got on last night:

Mario Gavranovic came on in the 79th minute in the 2-2 draw of Switzerland’s national team with Croatia.

Switzerland’s U21 had a very successful night with a 5-1 victory in their Euro qualifier over Liechtenstein. Berat Djimsiti played the whole 90 minutes, and Oliver Buff was sent on in the 84th minute. Loris Benito was not able to play due to a minor injury he had picked up during the final training session and followed the match from the stands.

Nico Elvedi played the first 45 minutes in the 2-4 defeat of Switzerland’s U19 team versus Scotland.

Israel lost their home game against Slovakia 1-3. Avi Rikan did not get to play.

Armando Sadiku was put on after 78 minutes in Albania’s 2-0 win over Malta.
