Hiroshi Kagawa Visits FC Zurich
Japanese sports journalist Hiroshi Kagawa was awarded the FIFA Presidential Award on the occasion of the FIFA Ballon d'Or in Zurich on Monday evening. With this award, FIFA acknowledges the 90-year-old’s tireless commitment as well as his great passion and dedication. Kagawa has been a journalist for over 60 years, during which time he has witnessed ten football World Cups, also the one held in Brazil in summer 2014.
Before the Japanese was presented with the award in the evening, he visited FC Zurich’s premises in the morning and was shown around the club’s museum, shop and offices, where he was given – among other things – a book on FC Zurich’s history.
We would like to congratulate Hiroshi Kagawa on receiving the FIFA Presidential Award and would like to thank him very much for his visit!
