Media release
FC Zurich: Cabral to resume first-team training

The management of FC Zurich decided today to allow Cabral to resume training with the club’s first team. The decision was taken following a discussion between the player, the management and the training staff. Cabral confirmed again to the club that the allegations against him in the UK were unfounded. He also confirmed to the club’s management that he would be personally appearing in court in Newcastle (UK) on 25 April to respond to the allegations.

In the light of the statements made, FC Zurich will continue to presume Cabral innocent of the charges against him. He will resume first-team training this week.
