FC Zurich sign striker Raphael Dwamena

FC Zurich have signed 21-year- old Raphael Dwamena until June 2020. The Ghanaian striker joins FC Zurich from Austrian second-tier league club Austria Lustenau with immediate effect and will be wearing number 11.

During his youth, Dwamena (height: 184 cm, weight: 81 kg) played for Red Bull Ghana in his home country before transferring to Red Bull Salzburg’s junior section at the beginning of 2014. Between July 2014 and July 2016, Dwamena played for Red Bull’s partner club FC Liefering in Austria’s second league. Last summer, he was transferred to second-tier league club Austria Lustenau, for which he has since scored 21 goals and five assists in 22 official matches.
