FC Zurich beat FC Chippis 10-0
FC Zurich have won their Swiss Cup away game against FC Chippis 10-0 this afternoon.
Three chances were enough for FC Zurich to realize a 3-0 lead after just 18 minutes: Cavusevic opened the score following a throw-in into the box by Pa Modou, and then a goal kick by the FC Chippis keeper landed in front of Cavusevic, whose pass was converted by Dwamena to double the visitors' lead to 2-0. And when a curled free-kick by Maouche found Cavusevic in the box, the striker scored his second goal of the afternoon and put the score to 3-0 for the visitors. This goal already decided today's encounter, but FC Zurich still increased their lead to 6-0 in the space of just five minutes (31 - 35).
After the half-time break, FC Zurich had a few more opportunities to increase their advantage, but it was only in the 69th minute that Cavusevic scored the 7-0 and then the 8-0 following an assist by Koné. And during the final minutes of the game, the Senegalese striker even scored two goals himself to put the final score to 10-0 for FC Zurich.
Next Saturday evening, 19th August 2017, FC Zurich will be facing Young Boys Berne at home (kick-off 7pm).
