Fabian Rohner signs first professional contract

18-year- old Fabian Rohner of FC Zurich’s U21 team signed his first professional contract yesterday. He joins the club’s first team squad with immediate effect. The midfielder has signed a contract until June 2020.

Fabian Rohner began playing football with SV Höngg before, at the beginning of 2009, being admitted to the FCZ Academy at the age of ten. He completed all of the Academy’s levels and contributed significantly to the U18 team’s Swiss championship title in the summer of 2016. Last year, Rohner was also called up to Switzerland’s U19 national team.

FC Zurich is very pleased to integrate another of its young players into the first team and would like to congratulate Fabian Rohner on his first professional contract and wish him continued success.
