Kevin Rüegg signs first professional contract

Last Friday, June 2nd 2017, 18-year-old Kevin Rüegg signed his first professional contract. The defensive midfielder has been part of FC Zurich’s extended squad since the second half of the 2016/2017 season and has signed a contract until the summer of 2020.

Since he joined FC Zurich from FC Greifensee in 2008, Kevin Rüegg has completed all of the club’s junior levels up to the U21s. The player of Switzerland’s junior national team competed in nine championship games with the club’s first team during the last Challenge League season (source: dbfcz.ch).

FC Zurich is very pleased to integrate another of its young players into the first team and would like to congratulate Kevin Rüegg on his first professional contract and wish him continued success.
