Raphael Dwamena joins Brighton & Hove Albion

Raphael Dwamena, 21-year-old player of Ghana's national team, leaves FC Zurich with immediate effect to join newly promoted Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion, pending the usual medical checks. Dwamena had joined FC Zurich in February 2017 from Austria Lustenau and scored 17 goals and played 7 assists in 25 official games for the club.

Club president Ancillo Canepa said: „From a sports point of view, we regret this transfer dearly. But we wanted to fulfill Raphael Dwamena's dream to play in the Premier League. We would like to thank him for his fairness and his efforts for FC Zurich and wish him all the best and a lot of success in the future.“
