Joel Untersee joins FC Zurich on loan

Right-back Joel Untersee, who will turn 25 in February, has joined FC Zurich from FC Empoli until the end of the 2018/2019 season.

The former FC Zurich junior joined the U17 team of Juventus Turin at the age of 16. Later on, he was loaned to then Super League club FC Vaduz for two and a half years and then to Brescia Calcio and FC Empoli. So far, Joel Untersee has played 42 Super League games, 54 matches in Italy’s Serie B and three Serie A games.

Joel Untersee will be wearing the number 6 shirt.
