Three expiring contracts will not be extended

The expiring contracts of Novem Baumann, Toni Domgjoni and Adrian Winter will not be extended.

25-year-old Novem Baumann has been with FC Zurich since 2006, where he completed most of his footballing education and joined the first team in June 2015. The goalkeeper competed in two official matches for FC Zurich against FC Wil and FC Basel and won the Swiss Cup in 2016.

Toni Domgjoni has been with FC Zurich 2009 and also completed most of his footballing education at the club’s Academy. The player of Switzerland’s U21 national team competed in a total of 121 official matches with the first team, in which he scored seven goals and played nine assists. In May 2018, the 22-year-old central midfielder won the Swiss Cup with FC Zurich.

Before Winter (34) left Orlando City SC to join FC Zurich in the summer of 2016, he was under contract with FC Wil, FC St Gallen and FC Lucerne. He played 142 official matches for FC Zurich, in which he scored 19 goals and played 14 assists. He also won the Swiss Cup with the club in 2018. On 30 May 2012, Winter played one game for Switzerland’s national team.
