Ilan Sauter has extended his contract with FC Zurich and joins FC Wil 1900 on loan

FC Zurich is pleased to announce that it has extended the contract with Ilan Sauter early by another year until the summer of 2023. In order for him to gain more match experience, the 20-year-old full-back is again loaned to FC Wil 1900.

Since 2011, Sauter has completed most of his footballing education with FC Zurich’s academy. In the summer of 2018, he signed his first professional contract with FC Zurich and has since played three official matches for the club. Last season, Sauter was already loaned to FC Wil 1900, for which he competed in 26 official matches.
