Umaru Bangura joins Neuchâtel Xamax FCS

33-year-old center back Umaru Bangura is leaving FC Zurich with immediate effect and is joining Neuchâtel Xamax FCS. The parties have agreed not to disclose the terms of this transfer.

Bangura joined FC Zurich from Dinamo Minsk in the summer of 2016 and has since played a total of 102 competitive games for the club, in which he scored one goal and played one assist. The captain of Sierra Leone’s national team won the Swiss cup with FC Zurich in 2018.
