Blerim Dzemaili extends his contract until summer 2023

FC Zurich is pleased to announce that it has agreed with Blerim Dzemaili on a contract extension for another year until summer 2023.

Dzemaili completed a large part of his football education at FC Zurich before joining the club’s first team squad in 2003. After 135 official matches, two championship titles (in 2006 and 2007) and one cup win (in 2005) with FC Zurich, he transferred to Bolton Wanderers in the Premier League at the age of 21. Dzemaili then played in the Italian Serie A for FC Torino, Parma Calcio, SSC Napoli, CFC Genoa and FC Bologna. Other clubs of the 69-time Swiss international are Galatasaray Istanbul, Montreal Impact and Shenzhen FC. Since his return to FC Zurich in December 2020, Dzemaili has made 32 official appearances, in which he scored one goal and played six assists.

We wish Blerim Dzemaili a lot of success with FC Zurich!
