Antonio Marchesano extends his contract early until summer 2024
FC Zurich is pleased to announce that it has agreed with Antonio Marchesano on an early contract extension by one year until summer 2024.
The 31-year-old central midfielder joined FC Zurich from FC Biel-Bienne in September 2015 and was then loaned to that club for one year. Since his return to FC Zurich, the player from the canton of Ticino has competed in a total of 180 games for FC Zurich, in which he scored 46 goals and played as many assists. In 2018, Marchesano significantly contributed to Zurich’s Swiss Cup win against Young Boys Berne when he scored the 2-0.
