Approximately 150 talented young footballers currently play for and practice with FC Zurich’s junior teams (U13, U14, U15, U16, U17, and U18) and its reserves team - and they all want to be professional football players one day. All our junior teams and the reserves team participate in the highest league championships and have up to eight training sessions a week.
Our scouts and coaches are constantly on the move: Scouting is an extremely valuable tool to find and acquire the most talented football players of all age groups for FC Zurich.
The way to becoming a professional football player is long and hard. Young players not only have to compete with the best players in training sessions and competitions every day, it is also very important that they complete their school education or their apprenticeship successfully and with the required discipline and diligence.
Before applying for a trial session with FC Zurich‘s junior teams, every talented football player should therefore decide for himself whether he’s ready to go all the way and pull it through. In particular, he should ask himself if he’s already good enough to apply for a trial session with FC Zurich.
Applicants must not be over 20 years of age and must be domiciled in Switzerland.
