The FC Zurich Ladies are Swiss champions 2022! They have won the playoff final against Servette FC Chênois Féminin 7-6 after a penalty shootout!
The women from Geneva took the lead in the first half thanks to a goal scored by Michèle Schnider, but shortly before the end of regular time, FC Zurich’s Martina Moser equalized from the spot. In extra time, Alyssa Lagonia gave Servette the lead for the second time in this game, but Fabienne Humm again equalized for the FC Zurich Ladies. In the penalty shootout, the FC Zurich Ladies took the lead thanks to a penalty saved by Peng, and Marie Höbinger ultimately converted the last spot kick to put the final score to 7-6 for FC Zurich. Thanks to this victory, the FC Zurich Ladies have celebrated their 23rd championship title and their 12th double in the club's history.
